New at Lutsen Mountains 2010
A new triple chairlift increases capacity to Eagle Mountain’s north-facing expert runs by 30%, a. Skiers will board the lift at the base area near the Historic Scandinavian Chalet for a ride to the summit of Eagle Mountain. This lift will be a welcome addition to those looking to ski Eagle and Ullr mountains while staying above the base area. THE PLUNGE IS BACK!
The near vertical drop on the North Face of Moose Mountain will reopen this season. As steep as any run in North America, and the steepest in Mid-America with a 90% slope and winch-cat grooming, The Plunge will challenge both expert skiers and those that are brave enough to try.
