Join the JHP Art Gallery for an exhibition of works titled “Calling” created by Alexa Carson.
Alexa Carson’s paintings invoke the call of our wilderness– the call of the chickadee, the loon, the wolf. We are being called back to our natural spaces to reconnect with wildlife, and to reclaim our role as nature’s stewards.
Summer Hours: Wednesday – Saturday 10 am – 4 pm; Sunday 1-4 pm; Monday 10 am – 4 pm. CLOSED TUESDAYS
The exhibit runs through June 30.

Suitable for beginners on up. Yoga sessions will meet on the plaza behind the Visitor Center or in the Tettegouche Meeting Room if the weather is not nice. Bring a yoga pad or sleeping mat if you have one, otherwise loaners are available.
$10 per student fee.

Grab your camera, water bottle and walking stick for this exploration of the Gooseberry River. Wear sturdy boots or hiking shoes for this 2 mile round trip hike. Meet at the theater in the Gooseberry Falls Visitor Center

Gunflint Trail outfitters want to introduce families and anyone interested to the adventurous joys of canoeing in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness by asking visitors to “Wet Your Paddle.”
Outfitters are hosting an hour of free canoe paddling and will provide instruction if needed!
You may visit the outfitter of your choice during their selected hour of the program, but please call ahead to let them know you are coming.
Anyone coming outside of the allotted time slot will be charged normal rental fees.
