Event Description
As a very young man, John L. Peyton canoed and snowshoed through the great forests between Lake Superior and Hudson Bay. After college he returned to depict, in drawings, paintings, and words the landscapes, wildlife, and people of this area in striking detail.
Peyton’s grandson-in-law, Doug Cameron, and his wife Kris have maintained Peyton’s private collection and preserved the details of the artists life. Experience rarely seen works and listen to Cameron’s insights on the artist.
