Dog Days of Winter Sled Dog Derbies & Skijoring Races

Sled Dog Derbies

• 8 dog 20-23 miles entry fee $40.00
• 6 dog 10-12 miles entry fee $30.00
• 4 dog 3-3.5 miles entry fee $20.00

Registration: 8 am – 10 am
Musher Meeting: 10 am
Race start: 11 am … 8 dog teams first followed by 6 dog teams and then 4 dog teams with about 2 minutes between teams and 5 minutes between starts of races

Skijoring

• 3.5 mile race entry fee $15.00
• 5 mile race entry fee $30.00

Registration: 10 am – 1 pm
Participant Meeting: 1:15 pm
Start: 2 pm

The race course will take place entirely on Poplar Lake, both races have a 2 dog max per skier and are freestyle races (open to skate skiing or classic skiing) and are open to all experience levels.
