Mark your calendars – Kids’ Day is returning. One of the most popular days at Chik-Wauk Museum & Nature Center. Children 18 and under can visit the Chik-Wauk Campus free of charge.
Every Tuesday, starting June 27 – August 22 Chik-Wauk staff will offer a variety of hands-on activities all related to the unique history and nature of the Gunflint Trail.
• Journal Making
• Craft projects
• Storytelling
• Nature hikes
A parent or guardian must always accompany children at the Nature Center.
Donations are appreciated to cover the costs of materials and supplies. Take your time driving up the Gunflint Trail National Scenic Byway.
Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center is a partnership of The Gunflint Trail Historical Society and Superior National Forest, Gunflint Ranger District.
