10-11am | Chasing Waterfalls Guided Walking Tour with Park Naturalist

Join Interpretive Park Naturalist on a tour of Gooseberry Falls State Park’s major waterfalls. On this walk, you can see views of Upper, Middle and Lower Falls. The tour covers 0.4 miles on varying terrain, including over 150 stairs. Contact Michaela Rice for more details on the route and alternate options. Along the way you will learn how the waterfalls were formed and how Gooseberry Falls State Park came to be.

1-1:30pm | Jr Naturalist: Loons and Recreation

What makes the Common Loon (Minnesota’s State Bird) so special? Children are welcome to join a naturalist to learn about this unique animal and how it has adapted to a life on the water and how we can work together to protect them.
