Ah, the most visited spot on the shore - Split Rock
Lighthouse. This century-old light sits on a 130-
foot cliff at Superior’s edge, once a beacon of
safety for passing ships, now an icon for travelers.
The 2,057-acre state park is open year-round and
offers secluded cart-in / walk-in campsites, a
shoreline picnic area, and a picnic shelter that
doubles as a winter warming house for fat tire
bikers and snowshoers; hiking and biking too!
