March Full Moon
March 14, 2025 @ All Day – The March full moon is known as the Worm Moon because (in warmer climates) it is when the earthworms start coming up out of the soil. It makes more sense to call it the Sugar Moon on the North Shore as maple sap typically begins to run in late March.

June 4, 2025 – June 5, 2025 @ 9:00 pm – 11:00 pm – Find the best stargazing dates on the North Shore. There is a good chance to see the Aurora Borealis aka ‘northern lights’ tonight. Watch from dusk until 10:30pm in the skies to the north. The forecast is for all of Minnesota except the southernmost 50 miles.
