Corundum Point Hike at Split Rock Lighthouse State Park: Join us on a guided nature hike to Corundum Point. The hike takes visitors around boulders of anorthosite, an unusual igneous rock of the North Shore, to view Lake Superior from a superb angle. This is a beautiful trail, but rugged. There are some steep sections. It is often windy at this time of a year- a rain jacket can help keep the wind off your skin.
Expect uneven walking surfaces. Steep stairs, we take our time. Please bring water.
Meet at Pebble Beach parking lot near the bulletin board. Leashed dogs are welcome.
