Event Description
Fighting Fire with Fire at Gooseberry Falls State Park – Come out to Lady Slipper Lodge Ampitheater to learn about healthy fire. Naturalist Mic will give participants an opportunity to build their own small fire as we discuss ways that fire can benefit the ecosystem around us. Participants will also learn how to safely start and completely put out a campfire.
Please dress for mosquitos. If it is raining, we can still build a fire inside Lady Slipper Lodge!
