Event Description
Where is the best place to get into the holiday spirit? The Julebyen (pronounced YOOL-eh-BE-en) “Christmas Village”. It is a centuries-old Nordic tradition celebrated with ethnic foods, crafts, holiday decorations, and music. Julebyen is hosted by the non-profit Knife River Recreation Council for the benefit of the community.
Festivities include:
Shop at the Outdoor Market, Indoor Market, Farmer’s Market and Gnome Dome Bakeri.
Round-trip train trips from Duluth, AND, local runs to Troll Canyon!
Enjoy a wide assortment of hot and cold dishes. from food vendors and visit the Gnome Dome text Bakeri.
Free music, entertainment, games and demonstrations throughout the day. Fun events for children and adults!
Information Booth: get answers about vendors, activities, schedules, train rides and entertainment plus cocoa, hats, reusable tote bags and decorative greenery.
