Event Description
Water walks have gained momentum over the last 20 years as an Anishinaabe led initiative dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of water and the need for protection of water. Organizers and participants have walked around bodies of water to raise awareness of the worldwide water crises. Join Naturalist Mic at the Middle Falls viewing platform at 11:30, where we will gather water, and walk it to the mouth of the Gooseberry River to honor fresh water and all that it provides.
