Event Description
August Arrowhead Artist Exhibition-Nancy Carlson :: Nancy is an accomplished children’s book author and illustrator living in Hovland, MN. Throughout the month of August Nancy will be exhibiting a series of artworks depicting women alone in nature and at home. This series began after experiencing loss, hardship, and loneliness and continued forward as a way of processing and healing – mirroring a similar series that Nancy created as a newly married wife and mother. With all of life’s changes, Nancy is trying to figure out life through creating art.
