The Boundary Waters region boasts some of the darkest night skies in the world. On the Bortle scale, a scale that rates the darkness of the night skies with 1 being the darkest and 9 the brightest, the BWCAW is mainly a 2, but it even contains a 1. During the presentation, you will see night images from the region, including Milky Way shots, star trails and northern lights.
You will learn how to make night images of your own.
