Forest To Table Gourmet Food and Wine Experience: An intimate evening of foraged flavors and curated wines, deep in the boreal forest
Some meals are just dinner. This one is a story. On April 25, 2026, Gunflint Lodge is partnering with Chef Kara Super-Peterson for an evening that begins in the forest and ends at the table in the historic Gunflint Lodge. Kara is a forager, chef, and food educator who has spent years learning the land of the North Shore of Lake Superior and the Gunflint Trail. She’s bringing that knowledge to a multi-course dinner unlike anything else in the North Woods. Expect fiddleheads just pulled from the forest floor. Wild leeks. Morels if the season cooperates. Each course is crafted around what the boreal forest has to offer in spring, and each one is paired with wines chosen to complement the flavors of the land.
This is a limited-seat dinner. Intimate by design. The kind of evening that starts a conversation and becomes a memory.
