Event Description
Gooseberry Falls event – Fern Walk :: Walk with a Naturalist to observe and study some of the oldest plants on earth dating back to over 300 million years ago. Learn how fern reproduction is unique compared to other plants.
Walk will be about a mile on moderately even terrain. Come prepared with good walking shoes and drinking water.
Meet at the east side of the visitor center. If lightning, alternative fern program will be held in the theatre. Free parking in the wayside rest lot near the visitor center is available.
