Looking for a quintessential small town festival? Hovland is about as small as you get. This tiny community northeast of Grand Marais (on Highway 61) is home to many and varied artists. Twice a year – July and November – they hold a festival to showcase and sell their art. The 18th Annual Hovland Arts Festival features art, hand made products, jewelry, gifts, food, music, and more! Held indoors and outdoors at the Hovland Town Hall. Stop in to ooh, ahh and purchase local art.
