Tori Finnish Marketplace and Music Festival

Date: August 10, 2024

Time: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Location: Finland MN Heritage Site

Event Description

Celebrate Finnish Heritage, experience the settlement history of eastern Lake County, with special emphasis on the region’s pioneer families. As a Tori, the Heritage Site’s grounds turn into a marketplace offering a range of local artists and craftspeople’s wares: from knives and rugs to apparel and maple syrup.

This fundraiser is free but donations are encouraged. The Historical Society also sells their famous herring burgers, grilled corn, homemade desserts, root beer floats and more. Bid at the silent auction and buy a raffle. It’s all for a good cause.

There will be local artists playing music throughout the day, along with great food, artists & crafters, cash raffle & silent auction, heritage site museum tours & demonstrations, nature trail hike, blacksmith, make & take crafts, + a scavenger hunt & imagination station for the kids!
