WISE North (Women’s Initiative for Service and Education) is hosting an online fundraising auction, November 6 – 14, featuring homemade food, gift certificates, art, and much more! 100% of proceeds go to scholarships for graduating seniors and adults seeking higher education, Cook County teachers for student enrichment projects, and local non-profit organizations.

Show your support for the Violence Prevention Center by joining us via Zoom for our 10th annual LunaFest! LunaFest is a unique traveling film festival that highlights women as leaders in society. This year, LunaFest presents seven short films by women filmmakers, covering a variety of topics and ranging in genre from fictional drama to animation.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Violence Prevention and Chicken & Egg Pictures. The Violence Prevention Center is a small nonprofit located in Grand Marais, MN that works to provide advocacy for all who have been affected by domestic and sexual violence and human trafficking within Cook County, MN.
Chicken & Egg Pictures is a nonprofit organization that supports women nonfiction filmmakers.
Purchase tickets, $60 for groups, $25 for individuals, $15 for students. A limited amount of no-cost sponsored tickets are available. Email email@example.com or call 218-387-1262 to claim.
Musician Ginger Bones will be performing, guest speaker Grace Grinager of Cook County Public Health and Human Services will join us, and we will screen the seven short films featured in LunaFest’s 2021 lineup.
