Each small town celebrates nature, arts and history, the great outdoors, local and regional talents, holidays and community. And you’re invited to join in. This North Shore Calendar of Events lists all kinds of goings-on; guided hikes, 99-mile bike races, fine art exhibits, pie-eating contests, solstice celebrations, historical talks, workshops, classes, summer festivals, small town parades, and the annual lighting of Split Rock Lighthouse.

Join us for our latest gallery exhibition, Of Place and Time, featuring local artists Paula Gustafson and Linda Ricklefs Baudry.

Celebrating light, life, and the vibrant landscapes we all love here on the North Shore, Baudry and Gustafson have put together an expansive collection featuring the wide range of their carefully honed talents.

Gallery exhibition runs July 19 – August 11 alongside our permanent Anna C Johnson collection and gift shop.
