This North Shore Calendar of Events lists all kinds of goings-on; guided hikes, 99-mile bike races, fine art exhibits, pie-eating contests, solstice celebrations, historical talks, workshops, classes, summer festivals, small town parades, and the annual lighting of Split Rock Lighthouse.

Event Description

Join us for our latest gallery exhibition, Northwoods Quilts featuring artist Beret Borson Nelson.

Putting on display just how versatile thread and fabric can be, this collection celebrates the many things that make northern forest unique, from the birds that soar overhead to the rocks that pebble our rivers.

Gallery exhibition runs August 17 – September 8 alongside our permanent Anna C Johnson collection and gift shop.
