North Shore Events

Each small town celebrates nature, arts and history, the great outdoors, local and regional talents, holidays and community. And you’re invited to join in. This North Shore Calendar of Events lists all kinds of goings-on; guided hikes, 99-mile bike races, fine art exhibits, pie-eating contests, solstice celebrations, historical talks, workshops, classes, summer festivals, small town parades, and the annual lighting of Split Rock Lighthouse.

Event Description

Put the date for the Norpine Fat Bike Classic on your calendar – Saturday, January 7th is the date to ride the beautiful North Shore woods out of Cascade Lodge!

Registration will be opening soon with a limit of 125 riders. We will be offering 3 races: the 25 mile Long Pine, the 14 mile Short Pine, and a new event for a barrel of fun, the 2 mile Crazy Pine (stay tuned for details). We will also bring back the Full Moon Tour on Friday, January 6th and the non-competitive tour from Sunday, January 1 – Friday, January 6th.
